We had such a great time with our previous Blog Hop we thought we’d do another one.  Take a look around and if you see something you like please post a comment on the Everything Scrappn Blog.  Also, while you are there, take a look around the store and leave us a comment on what you love about the store and what manufacturer’s and/or products you’d love to see in the store. Heather, Suz and I will be making a list of your wishes and looking for those items at CHA-Orlando July 2009.  And don’t forget, while you are leaving your comments, your are also being entered into a drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate to the Everything Scrappn store.  As an extra bonus, Heather has decided to have a pre-CHA sale to help clear out stock for all the goodies we will be selecting for you at CHA.  Take advantage of this time to get some great products for 30% off.

Here’s a little project I made using the Graphic 45 paper line.  I found this mini backpack tutorial and just knew I HAD to make it.  Let me know what you think.

Everyone loves American Crafts Thickers!  Well, maybe not EVERYONE, but if you’re a scrapbooker you definitely LOVE Thickers.  Also, if you’re a scrapbooker and you’ve heard about CHA you know that it’s coming to Orlando in July.  I’ll be going to CHA-Orlando with Heather from Everything Scrappn, along with another design Team member Suz.  We will be looking at all the newest products, deciding what to order, trying to figure out what you’d love to see in Heather’s online store.  What products are you impatiently waiting for, what would you like to see that you haven’t seen yet.  Then the idea hit me……….

So how about an EASY as pie contest?  And yes, you guessed it, the prize will be AC Thickers!!!!  Here’s the easy part, all you have to do to have your name entered into the drawing is leave a comment telling me what you’d to see, what you’d like to get your hands on from CHA-Orlando.  Easy enough!  But it gets a little better.  We will start off with 2 packs of  Thickers to giveaway.  Then for every 10 comments (one comment per person) I will add another pack of  Thickers to the prize package, but there will be a maximum of 10 packs of Thickers.  Gotta stop somewhere, right?!!!!

If you’d like another chance to get your name into the drawing, just head over to Heather’s online store at Everything Scrappn, place any size order and leave a message in the comments section that you came from here and gave me your CHA wishlist.

So get to making those wishlists and shopping and lets see how many packs of Thickers we can give away.  Contest runs through July 25th.  On the 26th I will draw a winner.

Pet Peeve No. ??????

I know this is mostly a scrapbooking blog, but it is also ‘This Scrapper’s Life’ and right now in my life I’m somewhat peeved!

One of my pet peeves is someone thinking they can speak for me.  HELLO!!!  I do have a mouth of my own and I know how to use it!!!  If you don’t know that about me then you most certainly don’t know me well enough to speak for me.  GOT IT???  Do not EVER think you can speak for me, especially when you haven’t even heard from me in how long now?!!!!  GOT IT???

The other pet peeve is this….  If I call you several times and you won’t answer, if I leave a few messages and you don’t return my call, HELLO, I get the message and I won’t bother you EVER again.  YOU are the one that refused to answer when I called.  YOU are the one that never returned my calls and messages.  THAT sends a very loud and clear message that YOU don’t want to talk to me.  YOU are to blame for us not speaking anymore.  I tried and YOU DID NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about a little phone etiquette?  If I call to tell you something, you don’t answer, fine.  I thought enough about you to want to let you know something, you thought enough about me NOT to want to hear it.  If I leave you a message telling you I need to tell you something, I thought enough about you to want you to know there was something important to tell you, YOU thought so little of me that whatever I had to say you just didn’t care to hear.

OK, you see?  I got your message loud and clear.  I am leaving you alone, not to bother you again, your wish is granted.
