I went to Michael’s, (I know, shocker!!!!) and I found something (I know, you’re shocked again), but this time it is for my kitty Gucci.  You see, I am trying to get him use to wearing hats but since it’s hard for my hubby to see him in the older hats (because Peanut use to wear them and he’s still heartbroken about his passing away) I am buying new hats for Gucci.  M’s has a patriotic display up now and I saw this Uncle Sam’s hat and just had to have it.  So tell me what you think!!

I did this layout using My Mind’s Eye paper from the Bella Bella line, I got it at the online store Everything Scrappn.  It was a perfect match for my gray kitty, Tippy.  I love this vine and leaf ribbon I got from an ebay auction, I’ve used so much of it that I really need to get more.  Let me know what you think about my little Tippy layout, do you think I did her justice?

Products used:  My Mind’s Eye Bella Bella “French Flea Market”, K&Co Teal Damask Flat, MM Alphas, Maya Road chipboard bird, Darice bling, Prima flowers, Stickles: Scattered Straw, Waterfall, Copper.

This picture was taken from a balcony where we live.  I just love the snow on the palm trees, the blue of the pool and the snow still falling.  LOVE. IT.  I almost wish it was snowing again today.  Almost.  Maybe my wish will come true again next year, but I’m doubtful.  This wish took eight years to come.  Yep, the last time it snowed was 2001.  I guess if I want snow in the next few years I’m going to have to travel to get some.
